Matara UK Ltd was established in 1995 and started actively trading in May 1996.

Matara was formed with the prime objective of offering UK Machine Builders and Resellers cost effective, yet technically superior automation products backed up by world-wide partners and our own production facility.

Together with our Taiwanese and German partners - Mindman , Comtop, PMI and Medan these objectives continue to be achieved.

Mindman are the largest independent Pneumatic Component Manufacturer in Taiwan and export their goods Worldwide.

Many of Mindman's Pnemautic products interchange with other well known Japanese manufacturers units. Mindman also supply customised pneumatic parts for many other European and Asian Pneumatic Manufacturing Companies.

PMI-AMT are one of the largest manufacturers of Ballscrews and Linear Rail Systems in The World. PMI supply more than 30% of the Japanese machine tool industry and more than 50% of the Taiwanese machine tool industry with Precision Ground Ballscrews.

By combining the cost effective production facilities of our partners with our own fully equipped CNC Machine Shop and Clean Room assembly facilities, Matara can offer quality components with rapid deliveries.

During the last five years Matara have enabled many machine builders to reduce their supplier base by incorporating Matara's Pneumatic and Linear Automation products on one order.

Matara have also helped keep the production lines of many household names running throughout the day and night.

Matara's service philosophy is simple - if we have it on our shelf or can manufacture it, our customer can have it. Matara can currently manufacture Rodless Cylinders and Belt Actuators up to 6 Metre's in stroke, Ballscrews fully machined up to 7 Metres in Length and VDMA cylinders up to 200mm Ø Bore the same day they are ordered.

Matara do not turn any customer away and whilst our largest customer spends more than £300,000 per year, we also have no minimum order charge.

Aggressive product development from Mindman, AMT and our own in-house R&D facility will ensure Matara continue to win major UK custom and confidence.
